our oakland cam looking at beautiful downtown oakland. the low tonight, 42 degrees, lit be freezing in the north bay. santa rosa down to 30. napa, 31. fairfield at the freezing mark. close to freezing for concord, pleasant hill. even san jose dropping to 36 degrees. last time i showed you this graphic, we were finishing january. in about 40 minutes t driest january in san francisco history breaking a record that was set just after world war i finished back in january of 1920. active satellite in re car, a lot going on. a lot of storms across the pacific but not much coming here, you will get rainfall coming up sunday, the ridge is sliding off. further away, it is not as strong, what that does is allow storms to come up over the top of the ridge and where the jet stream dips down, we hope it is over the bay area. there will be a low pressure area moving along the coast. showers in the forecast while you are watching the superbowl. you look outside and your grass and your yard will get a little wet. next week, i don't have a drop of rain in

oakland reported at the airport 41 degrees, but downtown oakland 47. half moon bay was checking in at 37. no rain, no clouds, in sight until i shift back a little bit. this is a system here we've been tracking for the last couple of days and up to this point, the models had moved it inland and dropped it south, skirting the coastline. it may be rain for the coast and along the peninsula. that has changed and the models bring it inland and give many of us the possibility of rain on sunday. there it is sunday morning. we wake up and we're mostly cloudy. we have scattered showers over parts of the bay, it's 8:00 over the san mateo coast along the peninsula, now, 9, 10:00, santa cruz, it may be the east bay, berkeley, oakley, free lap will p. perhaps we're looking at concord livermore, the scattered showers are with us at 2:00. this system will ride its way south continuing to send the bands inland and now we've crossed over 6:80, and livermore over scattered showers. this is where the storm path looks like it will move through at this point. if it shifts
